The clients wanted to persuade other donors to adopt their investment approach, which included multi-year funding and a focus on building capacity in local conservation NGOs to support community-based conservation efforts.

Solution
Identify target audiences and core messages, conduct interviews and photography, create a dissemination plan and produce an integrated multi-channel communications package that included a book, an exhibit and a multi-media show.

Value
Other international donors adopted the approach and put more resources into supporting networks, in-country NGOs and community rights.
